Dr. Nicci Owusu-Brackett is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Division of Surgical Oncology and a member of the UW Health Breast Center. She completed her BA in psychology at Dartmouth College and earned her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center followed by a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at the Ohio State University. Dr. Owusu-Brackett also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in immuno-oncology.
Dr. Owusu-Brackett specializes in breast and skin surgical oncology. Her research interests include the impact of allostatic load on cancer disparities with a focus on triple negative breast cancer.
