Kaia Hall is a rising sophomore at Spelman College. She is majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Sociology on the Pre-Medicine track. Her lifelong ambition has been to become an Obstetrician, and her academic studies support this goal. Along the way, she has developed a passion for public health, reproductive justice, and studying different groups of people, which she intends to integrate into her medical career. Kaia hopes to gain a global perspective of medicine to provide competent and equal care to patients of all backgrounds, specializing in caring for Black women and addressing the unique disparities they face in obstetric care. Kaia is honored to be an intern for the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness. She is excited to learn how wellness practices positively impact the lives of Black women and how to advocate for the wellness of Black women in all aspects of their lives.
