Jael Currie is a mother, social worker, and policy influencer. She strives to use her leadership to disrupt systems of oppression while centering the experiences & voices of marginalized people. She agrees with the assertion, "The people closest to the pain should be the closest to the power." Jael is especially passionate about ending disparities that exist within housing stability and attainment for Black women and their families, as well as the economic, political, and cultural empowerment of Black women.
