Francine White is a Madison, Wisconsin native currently pursuing a Dual Master of Social Work and Public Policy degree at the University of Houston. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies at Prairie View A&M University. Francine is passionate about supporting, advocating for, and empowering members of intersectional, marginalized communities. She currently serves as The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness Health & Wellness Programs Coordinator and as an intern is eager to learn more about methods for achieving health equity for Black women in Wisconsin and beyond. Following graduation she aspires to become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and bridge gaps in racial and gender disparities through work centered in advocacy, research, and policy analysis and implementation.
